Tips for Helping The Person With Dementia In The Bathroom

posted on January 1, 2018

Dementia Today offers some good advice to caregivers tasked with providing care while in the bathroom. It’s important to remember that the caree is a person and needs to feel comfortable.

Along with making the environment friendly, it’s also important to think about what equipment may make the job easier also.

Keep in mind that a hand held shower nozzle and as well as a “comfortable” shower chair will make the experience more enjoyable to the caree and  may lift the physical burden of the caregiver.
